Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Shainatown Studio. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle order processing, shipping, delivery, and related issues for purchases made on our website.
1. Where We Ship
At this time, we only ship within Canada.
- We ship to all Canadian provinces and territories, with no specific regional restrictions for now.
- We do not currently ship to the United States or any other international destinations.
Orders placed with a shipping address outside of Canada will not be shipped and may be cancelled and refunded.
2. Products and Carriers
We ship physical products only (such as art and creative items). Digital products, if any, do not require shipping and are delivered electronically.
All physical orders are shipped using:
- Postes Canada / Canada Post (standard shipping only at this time)
3. Order Processing Times
Our processing time is the period we need to prepare your order before handing it over to the carrier.
- Standard orders: Usually processed within 3 to 5 business days.
- Custom pieces and pre-orders: Processing times may be longer than 1–3 business days. Any special processing time for custom or pre-order items will be indicated on the product page or in your order confirmation whenever possible.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays in Canada and in the province of Quebec.
4. Delivery Times Within Canada
Once your order has been processed and handed over to Canada Post, delivery time depends on your location and the carrier. We currently offer standard shipping only.
- Canada (standard shipping): Most orders are delivered within a reasonable timeframe, but please allow up to 15 days for delivery within Canada.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Periods of high volume (such as holidays), weather events, or carrier disruptions may extend delivery times.
5. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, the weight/size of your order, and carrier rates.
- Shipping costs are calculated automatically by the carrier (Canada Post) at checkout.
The final shipping amount will be displayed before you confirm your order.
6. Order & Shipping Confirmation
After you place an order, you will receive:
- An order confirmation email with your order details.
- A shipping confirmation email when your order is shipped.
Whenever available, the shipping confirmation email will include a tracking number so you can follow your package’s progress with Canada Post.
7. Delays, Lost, or Damaged Packages
7.1 Delivery Delays
While we do our best to process orders quickly, some factors are beyond our control. Shainatown Studio is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Canada Post or other carrier operations
- Weather conditions or natural events
- Busy seasons (holidays, peak periods)
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer
Estimated delivery times are guidelines only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
7.2 Lost Packages (Within Canada)
If your order appears to be lost in transit:
- A package will generally be considered “lost” after 30 days from the shipment date.
- If it has been more than 30 days since your order was shipped and your package has still not arrived, please contact us so we can review the situation.
- Lost packages are handled on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, a refund, or another solution.
7.3 Damaged Items on Arrival
If your order arrives damaged, we want to help. Please:
- Contact us as soon as possible and within 7 days of delivery.
- Include your order number and clear photos of the damaged packaging and items.
We will review each case individually. When the claim is valid, we may offer a replacement, refund, or other solution appropriate to the situation.
8. Wrong or Incomplete Addresses
Please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order. Shainatown Studio is not responsible for orders that are delayed, lost, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
If an order is delayed, returned, or lost because of an incorrect address:
- We do not process standard “returns” for this reason.
- We will review the situation on a case-by-case basis.
- In some valid cases, we may offer a refund or other solution, but this is not guaranteed and depends on the circumstances.
9. Returns, Refunds & Shipping Fees

In general, shipping fees are not refundable unless otherwise stated in our Refund & Returns Policy or required by applicable law.
10. Local Pickup & Local Delivery
We currently do not offer local pickup or local delivery. All orders are shipped via Canada Post to the address you provide at checkout.
